You completely skip the difficult part – assembling the enclosure. They are a pain single handed and I'd love to see an easy method.

that was a nice plug idea for taht floor. People usually say cut the floor till you get to the supports and screw down a new piece or nail a box under the floor to the joists so that you can nail the floor to the box.

As this seems to be geared to an audience on the east side of the pond, you really should add a few of disclaimers for your US viewers. 1) you say permits would not be required – As permitting requirements in the US are set by individual jurisdictions there is no way to make that claim. One town may require a permit while their neighboring city may not, 2) licensed plumbers may or may not be required – there are areas here where there are no plumbers licensing requirements. 3) "S" traps were removed from all US plumbing codes about 50 years ago. Cannot believe these are still acceptable on your side, how is the waste line vented? Best Wishes

little pecker!

Charles Robson says:

Technically, by cutting the 40mm sanitary waste pipe you have illegally altered the sanatiry pipe system, which under the law is only allowed to be altered by a suitably qualified practitioner licensed by the PGDB. But im just splitting hairs here.
If you want to do it correctly, dont cut the pipe and just lift the whole vanity off the pipe
