My button got stuck about 2 minutes ago. I googled “stuck ego button’ and
found this vid. Now it’s working again. And I didn’t miss a thing. I love
Youtube.

jamesin12345 says:

I recently got one of these in a very similar design. The problem I have is
I can’t charge the battery because when I try to get to the battery it
always opens to the area with the wire. Please any help would be greatly
appreciated.

BoO Aparicio says:

thank yooooou! Fixed mine!

Noah Bramblett says:

This video saved my ass and my Wallet. Thank you man

Bobby S. says:

=( well I tried this and ended up disconnecting two of the wires.. So I
think I just completely broke my battery all over a stupid button

edenscancer says:

THANK YOU! I’ve had an ego-c twist with a broken button just sitting in a
desk drawer for about a year. I’m broke and cant afford another battery so
I decided to see if anyone had uploaded a video (I searched before with no
luck) and BOOM! found yours right off the bat.

I fixed the battery and it’s charging now. Here’s hoping that’s all that
was wrong with it. If it is, then I’ll have another battery instead of just
one that’s starting to fail on me.

Becky Mcdonald says:

Thanks a ton!! I dropped mine yesterday and was afraid to take it apart, as
they are not cheap. Watched your video and my daughter and I had it fixed
in a couple of minutes. You totally rock!!

Robert Douglas says:

Thank you, this was a very helpful video and I got my wife’s button fixed
and working fine again. :)

D0sh says:

Very helpful, thanks a ton!

knifefromHeLL says:

Never buy an mng vape battery. I’ve had 3 and they all started breaking in
the first day, even once I learned to treat them like an ipod screen.

martin butcher says:

Thanks friend

Kelly Williams says:

The Vapor Place here in Idaho and Oregon repairs their customer’s broken
batteries free of charge. I was in the habit of carrying my vapor stick in
my back pocket which damaged more than a few batteries that they would fix
on-the-spot at no cost. Thank you for posting this video so that I can
attempt my own repairs at home.

jesseturnip says:

thanks. now i fix all the stuck buttons i find

Zahid Khan says:

I’ve just tried this and when I was closing it the blue wire separated from
the green bit where the button is supposed to be pressed help please. :(

Squibzzy says:

my wires were held together by glue, like come on something that’s going to
heat up shouldn’t be held by glue morons

Tom Kenney says:

Would you be able to post a Video on where the wires connect because
someone pulled mine Apart ages ago and i dont no how to fix it

Y0uEnj0yMyself says:

This is exactly what I needed to do. Thank you for helping me out. Works
like new.

Gary Lloyd says:

thanks for showing how to open up.

Manare71 says:

Not all eGo batteries are that easy to fix. Some are extremely difficult to
assemble them back again; the inner space is too tight and the button on
the IC must be pressed in order to put it back…a nightmare.
Good info anyway, thanks.
Hint: Get a better webcam ;)

josh tyler says:

thanks this helped !!!

Thomas Dyess says:

I would advise being really really careful doing this, I just got a new
battery two days ago, the button got stuck today, I tried this, the circuit
board is pressed in really tight with a plastic casing around it, as soon
as I got it out, the board grounded out, all I heard was a small pop and
that’s all she wrote, anyone that is good with electronics I would advise
cutting one wire before removing anything and spice it back together along
with a little heat shrink tube so you don’t end up frying your board. DO
NOT LET THE BOARD TOUCH THE METAL! If it hits the wrong way it will short
it out. Brand new battery, didn’t even get a full charge off it. But
thanks, ill know what to do and how to avoid this in the future.

ltetobago says:

Thnx +Vapor Kings I just did this carefully using a ce4 tank and jiggled
the button back into place..didnt really nd to pull everything out

lowrie86 says:

thanks man. i dropped mine and fixed it before i finished watching your
vid

Mike Slattery says:

Thanks dude, dropped a battery months ago and the button was half stuck in,
had to press so hard that i had a permanent dip/mark on my thumb, soon as i
seen this i went and had a go,

Sure enough you fixed it for me… your a gent

dilbaba1 says:

I broke the button for months when i dropped it, then i dropped it and it
fixed itself i was sooo stoked, but literally 10min later my girlfriend
dropped it and broke it again… :/

Vapor Kings says:

You don’t want to glue the button. When I repair these in the shop, I put a
small dab (very small) on the plastic piece where it meets the inside of
the metal connector shell. I also put a small drop on each of the tabs that
slide into the metal shell. Hold these pieces in place until they dry
(don’t glue your fingers!). If you need further illustration let me know
and I’ll post a complete video…this is something we learned after we made
the initial repair video. JoyeTech fixed the design

John Watson says:

Thanks for this! I appreciate a vape company doing a video like this not
just telling people to buy a new one!

gutzy24 says:

Awesome! Thanks a million!

Vapor Kings says:

That would be a different brand of battery and I’m not familiar with how
they are built.

FroztiProductions says:

I freaking hate stuck buttons, if u have an ego with a sticky button and
can’t fix it, get rid of it or be freaking careful. I’ve ruined 3 clearos
from not unsticking it in time

harpred2 says:

Thanks! Worked perfectly. I found that some liquid had leaked down into the
button area and that was gunking it all up. Leak had come from the outside
and not “through” the battery itself. Leaks are apparently more than just
annoying.

t0n3chas3r says:

Had to be patient with the rockin’ back and forth. Found out the button was
not alligned on the circuit board switch. But yeah it worked. Thanks.

v pinks says:

THANK YOU SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH!

Dreadbeard says:

Fantastic! Mine’s working beautifully now. Huge thanks for your help =)

Ridzuan Khalis says:

can you please please please help me. the wire inside the vapor had
dislodged from its place and i don’t know how to reassemble it back. please
help me.

auforu says:

How about a stuck button on a svd ? any ideas

Asitis says:

Thanks fella – worked a treat. Vaping in the U.K.

FreeFlyFreak69 says:

I would add while digging around in there use plastic tools only. I used a
pen cap when prying the circuit board out. I was just putting my button
back in and just fried all the wires when my metal tweezers inadvertently
touched something, probably the circuit board. Thanks for the video but I
would HIGHLY recommend using nothing metal while working on this. Seems
like common sense, but apparently I don’t have any ;-p

M Spillone says:

thanks for starting from step 1- how to open it up! so many other videos do
not start at step 1. This worked great- thanks- how do you feel about
placing a drop of super glue under the button to attache to the strike pad
beneath it?

Solala says:

Thank you! I was just about to order a new battery, this is the second time
this happened, the first battery went in the trash, so glad I did not have
to do the same with this one! Thanks again
