Photoshop: Make a PORTRAIT made only of TEXT by Blue Lightning TV
everytime i click command V it just adds another layer and doesnt link to
the layer.

Really good explanations. Maybe it would have been better if you used
menus instead of shortcuts.
I design through Cs2 Photoshop, normally when I’m finished I save it as a
JPEG photo, when I view the image and zoom in a little; it appears blurry.
Even when I’m designing, when I zoom in, it appears blurry.
1) – Is there any way I could prevent this or improve the resolution of the
image.
Then I want to order my designs for display but when I upload to websites
such as VistaPrint, they say the image is too blurry to be printed onto a
18 x 24 or higher size frame.
2) How can I prevent this?

When I select the shadows and add it to the new layer they come out white.

on. He was to the point and the directions are extremely easy to
understand, I am really excited to try this.
Many thanks for an amazing tutorial. I had a look at few techniques but in
my opinion, this was the easiest and best way.
However, I am stuck at colouring point and unable to colour my portrait.
When I apply a gradient or brush, rather than changing only text, it
applies to whole canvas. I have followed all the steps as explained but not
sure where I am going wrong. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

At 1:37 “Alt + Delete” doesn’t do anything on my side. Everything else is
good but can’t fill the selection with black. I’m using Photoshop CC.
EDIT: I found the problem. It’s “Alt + Backspace”, not “Alt + Delete”.
Now the problem is (midtones color range) :
” Warning: No pixels are more than 50% selected. The selection edges will
not be visible”
