This might sound funny asking but… Are you from new Mexico? The accent sounds like it

I just had the same issue with my new Lincoln 140. The machine will stop working when it gets too hot, I just let mine sit with fan running for a bit then she’s back in business
How old is this Lincoln 140?
Is your wire feed tension adjusted too tight where the wire feed motor cannot turn? If so, loosen wire feed tensioner, to get wire feed motor to turn.
