can you use the aluim spool gun on the eastwood shown in this video
looks a little like a longevity welder .
Are these mig only or do they run flux core a well?

Jeremiah to prevent burn through is very easy…just remember that your
wire speed is your temp. When it comes to flux core or mig. For sheet metal
setting are topically mid. Temp with a faster wire speed
What about parts. Probably cant get them at you local welding supply can
you?
I have that same welder I use flux cored wire .035 and when I weld body
panels it works great once or twice then blows a hole through the good once
or twice then blows a hole through any advice ??
the recomended settings on the lincoln may be wrong you can here the
differnce the licoln settings are way wrong for what your welding there
very touchie and have a sweet spot were it welds great but isnt easy to
find the eastwood on the other hand settings are right may be alittle cold
but still good looks to me like its better than the lincoln in that sence
They run both flux core and MIG. I currently have mine set for flux core. I
own one and after a few hassels With the first I got it replace (shout out
to Eastwood customer service!) and the second has preformed flawlessly,
live run miller, Lincoln and Hobart, it competes quite well.
