shop is telling me its the Jet Pump. (NOTE: I installed a O.E.M. fuel pump
last year)

HURLO DOLO says:

Similar problems on same car, What was your solution?

schwaine says:

I put a new fuel pump. Removed the old pump from the sending unit, but the
jet pump was used and the sender on it was bad.

Daryl Barnes says:

I have the exact same problem on my 2002 LS. What was your solution?

schwaine says:

Thank, I’ll try that. Just got it from the dealer and they talking 800 for
fuel pump so they can test the (REM) rear electronic module, that’s
discontinued. So I got one from the junkyard and still no starting.

schwaine says:

I figured out the problem.

I just saw your video my 2002 just did it me and a buddy replaced fuel pump
like you did still did work come to find out its neither its the main
computer. If try this straight wire pump it will come on and car will crank
.you have choices pay 400 or more for computer or wire it to your fuse box
so it will cut on and off with car that’s what we just did that’s not the
problem sell car.

joe palmisano says:

need to check power and ground at the fuel pump wires, if there is no power
the pump will never turn on.

Christopher Barksdale says:

I am having the same problem, am going to change the Filters there are Two,
did you resolve the problem?

schwaine says:

No I didn’t, the pump is not turning on at all. I changed the diode, fuse,
relay, jet pump, and fuse pump and still nothing. My next step is to bring
to dealership
