switch to select the tappings, simple reliability :-))

While it was open maybe you should have burnished the contacts.. Kinda
like we used to do on auto points. Just sayin.
If you google the Larz Anderson Auto Museum you will get their website
they have all kinds of lawn events, German, European, VW and antique.
If you turn power off the switch turns easy.Mine has the same problem.

I think a lot of Lincoln welders have this issue .. There great rigs but
just that power adjustment gets sticky and freezes up !!

I got the same welder an mine is also hard to turn guess I’ll have to do
