I found that whitening toothpaste works wonders for cleaning dirty com
bars. Also, try taking all the data off your cameras SD card, popping it
into a reader other than the camera, and format the card with fast format
unchecked.

That’s a bad-ass old welder… pretty bizarre differential drive system, I
like it! A while back I had a gasoline welder similar to that but not
DC… from what I have heard DC welders weld better than AC

Check those flat ribbon resistors if open circuit. also check the
excitation and the control variac.

do like ford tractors, good to see yours grinds when putting the pto into
gear, thought it was just mine! I now put it in gear before i start the
engine.
Are you deleting the video files using your PC? I googled camcorder control
data error and one of the sites said if you use your PC to delete files of
the camera it messes things up. maybe format your SD card with the camera
and then if you need to delete a video delete it using the camera and not
your PC. What’s the model # of your camera?
Check the ribbon resistors and the solid wire joints they look good but
aren’t, we still get these in at work quite often and 9 outta 10 times
that’s what goes belly up

oh man that is a cool DC welder!, they are a solid old beast, bit rough to
weld with, but they get the job done!
what AWG are those two wires going out to the welding clamps? they look
really thick.
