Thanks for the video. I just received this helmet, and when I look at the sun to do a sun-test, it doesn't darken… The test button auto-darkens, fine. Can you comment if this helmet will auto-darken when looking at the sun? I contacted Lincoln and they quickly sent me a completely new insert, but it's functioning the same way. Not a trick question, just thinking maybe it has some new technology that recognizes a welding arc as different from the sun. I thought I'd try changing out the batteries and what brought me to this video.

Thanks! You might think Lincoln would cover this in the 3350 instruction manual. 'Fraid not. Considering how good the 3350 itself is, it's impressive how uninformative the manual actually is
, along with most of the videos by blah-blah-blah Youtubers. This one is an exception. Thanks again. PS- Mine came with a battery installed.

Kuddo's Man, got a flash and checked my battery. LOW!!! Could not for the life of me figure out how to change it out. Went to UTUBE and there it was. Easy greasy…. Thanks for the video.
