A little bit of light would have improved greatly this video.

dcfs2005 says:

Great video. Someone hit my driver’ side wheel and bent the rim on a 2000
Corolla. I replaced the tire, but now now the steering wheel points to the
left, but the car stills drives straight. I assume the hit put it out of
alignment. I replaced the wheel bearings, drives axles and also control
arms. Do you think I need to re-adjust the tie rod? If I let the steering
wheel go, it does not go straight.

Kriminal Artist says:

heres my problem….my 2002 ford focus zx3 tie rod has no hex. its just
round. how the fuck do i get it out?

Steve M says:

you guys are awesome! thanks for doing these!

RICHAA72 says:

Michael Jagneaux says:

most of the time, you can get one at an auto parts store. they loan them to
you & return your money when you return it

ST4ME says:

He said “bad boy”!!!! Awesome video…a little better lighting in the wheel
would have been nice but the discussion and editing was A+, thanks guys.

A TR says:

@autohowtovideos Thanks, I’ve followed your instructions and saw that the
tool listed on AHTV site is a Lisle 45750 Inner Tie Rod Tool. I hope this
one works on a 91Accord

dropoutfred says:

Great video. May want to provide more light when trying to get video of the
inner areas. It was difficult to see what you were doing. Commentary
explained everything very well, just would have been helpful to see it was
well. Good job though.

Coribec says:

This video is okay except they edited out the separation of the outer tie
rod from the mounting hole around 1:03 I think that’s important because you
may need a particular tool/tools to do that.

frankie2234 says:

need more light to see in tire wheels, but very nice vids, thanks

mageac says:

@SearcySW but 99% of the time only the band part of the clamp is stainless,
other parts are plain steel

could you please tell me the brand name, size of the wrench, I went to
kragen and auto zone and didn’t have it for a 91 accord.

Anthony Jones says:

Great vid guys. I already know how to do this job, but I enjoyed watching
the instructions put out in this vid. Short and sweet but with all the
directions needed to learn how to do the job correctly. Easy to follow. Ive
seen some vids on this take 30+ minutes just to show what you shown in
under 7 minutes. Keep up the good work!

EternalForgiveness says:

The inner tie rod on the passenger side of my 2002 Subaru is bad and needs
to be replaced. As a rule of thumb, should you always replace both the
inner and outer when either is worn? Thanks

mageac says:

@BlazerLT the zip tie would probably outlast a hose clamp…

smithtireco says:

Tie Rod on my 94 Civic is gone, car shimmers/shakes violently when speeds of
only 50. Bought the tie rods for both sides, but ran into a problem. Cant
find the tool to remove the inner tie rod. Tried auto zone free rent tool
program but they have a similar tool, which wont fit the tie rod. Where did
you guys get the tool or where do you recomend i check? Thanks

spelunkerd says:

You guys give straight forward, practical advice. Thanks for going through
the effort to post these videos.

pantallica .in chains says:

1998 lincoln continental needs inner tie rod end is it similar to this

AssGrabber B says:

I could watch videos like this all day. Thanks guys!

autohowtovideos says:

@reyalant hope that helps that should be a kit that comes with multiple
fittings for different vehicles so one of those should work

eclipse4388 says:

ur an idiot man the only part the guy left out of the process was how to
remove the wheel an if your that dumb that u don’t no how to take lug nuts
off or jack a vehicle then you def don’t need to be near a car at all or
tie rods stop hating on the guys video he did a good video showed proper
install n ur worried about his camera angle n idk what details u think he
missed is it to complicated for u to unscrew a lock nut or to twist out the
outer tie rod or put a socket tool over the inner one

cummins power says:

Thanks, that was a lot of help.

Cuitli09 says:

Awesome video but it was to dark, need some lighting so we can see better
overall very good.

Marcos Castillo says:

So, should I feel comfortable letting an experienced friend perform this
job or should I just take it to a mechanic? Any opinions anyone?

autohowtovideos says:

@reyalant Can’t remember the exact brand will had in the shop but i found
where you can purchase a similar one the link is on our site in this videos
description page.. won’t let me post a link in the comments but if you go
to autohowtovideos[dot]com and click on AHTV originals you can find this
video there with the tool link.

Jx1x3 says:

Ian Hilton says:
