wagner59270 says:

oh nice one dude Ive never thought of that Ill have to try it next time… getting all the glass out of the tracks can be a real pain in the butt

rpahjr says:

Good job onb that Wayne….but I have a tip for ya on the next time you have to replace a busted door glass. If you have any old car antenna’s laying around….they work great for getting the glass out of the sides where the glass slides and also the nooks and crannies inside the door itself. Just get the ball end and about an inch below the ball bend it at a right angle….lets ya twist it around so you can open the flaps easier so the glass just falls to the bottom and you can vaccum it up.

wagner59270 says:

nope actually that motor has about 4000 miles on a rebuild but I figured out what happened… Ill have a video up of it soon

nice job wayne!!!!!

Greg9942 says:

I got a window in my Silverado broken once. I cleaned up all the glass with a shop vac. I used the little narrow attachment for to get in all the small places.
I had to check and vacuum it every week for a while. A few small pieces would be stuck behind something, and driving around would make them move a little and get to where I could find them.
Good video. A lot of maintenance and repair is straightforward, if people just realize that it can be done. You don’t have to pay somebody to do it.

Thats my kind of price.
