I tried to cut off the water, but the handle rusted through and broke off.
How much is a replacement, and how do I replace it when the rest of the
valve is still there?
I once cleared a toilet that had been plugged for two weeks…….. now
wear protective mask, i just can’t shake the smell……….
Very helpful, thanks for sharing this.

my flapper falls too fast. I have to hold down the flusher to flush the
toilet. When before I use to flush and walk away and it would flash itself.
Now I have to stand there and hold the flusher down. Why and what do I
have to do to fix this?
New toilets are crap. They don’t work properly and they’re not powerful
enough.
Thank you THD! I am going to try replacing the fill valve altogether
however our toilet issues are a bit unique. My employee thinks he left a
nitrile glove in the tank that fell in and my have clogged somewhere as
right now we cannot flush the toilet at all. The new Flapper doesn’t seal,
it just floats like there is no suction pulling it down to close. Very
odd. Any ideas?!
Turn off the main
I will now continue to shop at Home Depot, you guys just saved me $200.00.
Thank you
Thanks, great job, saved me money!
Thanks, I was able to fix my toilet with no problems.
or if none of that works call a friggin plumber. I just replaced the
crappy fill valve that was obviously broken. F the seals. $9 and its
fixed. A flapper came with it. The funny part is the chain is so dam hard
to connect and get the right length so it doesn’t interfere with the
flapper closing…..he doesn’t go over that
thanks
What do you do if there is a screaming Squirrel in it? Please hurry, it is
keeping my room mate Osama Binladen awake at nights
Thanks Rick!
Thanks for the help, Home Depot! You saved me a lot of time with this

Just call a plumber. You’re gonna fuck it up
Very well explained .Thank you ,
It puts the lotion on it’s skin
