Vinegar is acidic. Once you remove it from the vinegar, RINSE it in cold
water before you reinstall the jet so the acidic action is stopped.

This worked! Thanks! :)

Mine went out months ago, I thought there was some sort of solenoid in the
jet itself that failed. Going to try these methods and see if it resolves
my issue. Thanks!

I did the vinegar soak and then blew through the 2 small holes. I think it
was algae that came out, so I used a paper clip to dig the rest out through
the big hole. Let it sit in the vinegar a bit longer and BAM! Shit’s
working like never before!

Thanks for the video. These little guys are buried in my 2008
Trailblazer. Have to take off all kinds of stuff to get them out. So you
gave me the idea to just disconnect the hose at the pump and blow it out
through the jet. Worked great.

Did you happen to have bug wash in your washer fluid reservoir when this
clog happened? My nozzles were working great until i took out the original
blue washer fluid and poured in some green bug wash..

Thank you for posting.

moeundertaker says:

you shouldn’t put a pin in the nozzle, it’s a really bad idea not matter
how thin the pin is, the hole will be even thinner so it will only make the
hole bigger and ruin it, it shouldn’t spray a jet of water, it’s supposed
to be like mist when it comes out

A McGuire says:

thanks! I’m going to try this!
