find the proper hinge pin kits.. there are about 8 different versions.. the bushings pull in using an 5/16 or 8MM bolt..a socket to pull the bushing shank thru the bottom of the plate..to fully seat it..

use a harbor freight scissors type transmission jack with a bath towel folded on the top to support the door while you pull it back a few inches.. one person will have to hold the door.. while you change the bushings in the inner section of the hinges..

I think this video does a great job of showing how big of a pain in the ass the seemingly "smallest" of car repairs can be. Kudos for sticking it out to the end without breaking stuff. Digz on the sound track too.
