Brother you are the man!!! I was fighting this thing for about an hour heating the line, doing everything else didn't think about heating the coupling!! Don't take this the wrong way but, just leave it to a redneck!!!

@rogermartin404 says:

Never needed an electric heat gun to put fuel lines together, not gonna start now! ✔️

@gourmet53 says:

Seems a little crazy to me to use an electric heat gun to heat up gas lines………….jus sayn

@jayceasar2661 says:

great cheap fix

@noeolmedo2154 says:

Hey bro, such a professional job, you deserve triple A+

@user-ol5fh6vg9v says:

Hi. Thanks a lot for getting back to me. I ended up figuring out that tool but I wanted to say thanks for the video you made on you know heating up that that fitting or insert to go. You know to push that island on and melt it on there that works really good so keep up the good work, buddy.

@user-ol5fh6vg9v says:

Hi how did you disconnect the fuel line at the union or factory split it was on the end of the piece you were holding at the end of your video

@southernarsenal908 says:

Show me it doesnt leak now

@Cam-nl8hx says:

Is that the line going to the fuel pump? Can you do that to both the pressure line and return line?
How did you cut the old line?

@markmckinney9821 says:

Phenomenal advice.

@edjacobs8876 says:

Had you tried the dorman shark bite fuel line connector?

@robyost8356 says:

I tried using this method after a buddy of mine broke the quick connector coming outta the fuel filter, this "kit" is nothing more than a"band-aid", a VERY temporary "fix"…….within 2 months, it somehow sprang a fuel leak while I was driving…..the cheap ass fuel line somehow sliid most of the way off of the metal insert, which naturally added about an inch and 1/2 of length to the line, and then it ended up getting crimped, which caused the fuel leak…..so, the money and effort saved by going this route was negated by the fact of being broke down at a traffic light in a high traffic areas and then the cost of the tow fee…..all around, just a complete half ass shortcut way of fixing the issue

@مقاطعمتنوعة-ت4ن says:

My car's fuel injector's hose is leaking, is there a tape to fix it at least temporary or a stopgap measure?

@jdmackable says:

Thanks so much for posting. I've got the same kit and was worried about getting the line on the barb.
Think I'll give this a try.

@bajaboi6851 says:

Great video thank you sir

@maxgamble1445 says:

Good s***my man

@widtrak77 says:

that barb came in the kit or you bought separately?

@bhagyawanbhagat2361 says:

There is 2 sizes so which side it from the tank and which size to the engine ?

@shawnsherrick653 says:

So wait a minute, I don't need a compression fitting? And how is your new piece clamped on the old line? Or is it?

@chrismechanic6164 says:

Finally found a video of someone using one of these damn kits. They make a tool to do this but I'm not spending $100 for a tool all only use once. I was wondering if you could get by with a heat gun.

@danielq.4371 says:

Just messed up a small hose in my engine bay and didn't know how to go about it. Thanks!

@Z-Ack says:

You can just use dry lube silicone spray on any line..
