Respect (y) Got a 2001 Lincoln LS, same color. Needs a new air pump (code P1414), needs a new pressure control solenoid pack (P0775), needs a new lower control arm, rim, and ball joints because I slammed it into a curb avoiding an accident, and needs new headlight assemblies…. all together, around 1,000. Doing it at Lincoln, 6,200.

My Lincoln LS had similar problem.I had cracked the factory radiator overflow bottle.I had it replaced with a new one from ebay. 4 Months later, car overheated again, and again cracked overflow bottle. On previous occassion, ignition coil misfire, common on these cars.Is there such a thing as partially blown head gasket? I’m thinking the previous engine misfire caused poor seal of head gasket and some cyl pressure is escaping causing radiator overflow bottle to crack. Is this possible explanation?
