Bob, the people that disagree obviously don’t know much.
Have a 2008 Dodge Avenger and its doing the same exact thing like the
brakes work really good but it’s still the pedals week lot of trouble flow
to the floor and if I hold it long enough in the Med Center then you start
to hear the air come out I’m wondering has anybody had it fixed and how
much did it cost???
It’s snowing like crazy outside his window. lol
wen i trun on my 1997 nissan pick up it makes a whisling sound is it the
brake boster and its leaking but can find the leak
Great description!

I had a bad booster about 6 mo. ago, so I did the job myself bought the new
master cylinder just in case. Just yesterday started hearing a hissing
sound nothing has changed as far as pressure on the pedal could I have done
something wrong yes I purged the new master cylinder and bled the system
after what do you think auto part store said to bring it in ,but defective
part?? that’s easy way out.
life savor man thanks
I was a bit distracted by the blizzard outside his window. Otherwise great

Hey I had a quick ? So I just got my brake master cylinder replace d with a
new one and the shop installed it but I can’t tell a difference it still
seems like I have to push my brake down to the floor could it need a new
power booster ?
Bob your bad ass mechanic lol thank you for the tip.
Ok so 94 cavalier 3.1 car runs awful and stalls. my brake booster is one
problem,. my delema is when i pull my vacuum hose from the booster my car
should want to die right? well when i pull it and just let it suck my car
runs great like a champ. as soon as i plug it back in it dies. ??? why
So if I have a booster leak inside the car under the dash, how would I fix
the problem then. you really need a video to show us how to tackle this
kind of problem!
What if it’s just a leak in the valve/hose can I just replace that instead
of the whole booster. I think the dealership I bought if from originaly
sealed the hole with some kind of spray.
Bob knows his stuff…he was able to troubleshoot my booster install issue
with no problem. He’s an invaluable resource. Thanks again Bob!
i REAalized my break booster is leaking after i noticed my shoes were wet
after driving. its alot of oil on my car carpet. Now my car shows “Low
Break Oil” the break has been perfect but i suspect the booster has been
leaking for days now. The Low oil light came on two days ago. I drive a
Porsche 944, 87
when have a leak in the booster can the brake fluid leak into the manofold
and come out in the exhaust system
i saw the same thing, and it looks like it is, but then the dissonance with
him dressed like he is, with a thin shirt and the sleeves rolled up makes
me say no, must be rain.
Although separate I have had times as to where brake fluid has indeed
dripped down from the back of the brake reservoir down the booster and drip
off the bottom of that booster, this has happened more than once over the
course of 55 years and owning and servicing more than hundreds of vehicles.
Great video I forgot to add also over filling the master cylinder and brake
bleeding with the cap off and spilling can cause drips..
