Hey Brother–shot the codes on my 2006 silverado, and it was wheel speed
sensor. No ABS issues at all. I think your tutorial is exactly what I
need to do to resolve the problem. The codes said it was on both sides,
right and left. Just one question–once you pop the alan screw out, you
carefully pull out the sensor. Just finesse it eh? Wiggle it like a loose
tooth without breaking the plastic? I always have bad luck breaking
plastic parts, so any advice would be welcome.

for me now that i saw you do it,i have a 2006 yukon and the abs sensor
going out makes the traction control go crazy so im very happy the fix is
minimally evasive…
Great video!! This shows the exact problem I have on my silverado. Are
your sensors still working properly since cleaning up the rust? Not sure
if I want to just replace the sensors or replace with a new hub assembly w/
sensor. Thanks!
Thank you for the fix video! I have an ’03 Chevy 2500HD 6.6L 4×4 that is
doing the same thing. No ABS light, just annoying that the brakes let go
when you hit about 5mph and also they push back when you quickly apply the
brakes at any speed. Dealership said both sensors were bad and the only
way to fix it is buy new HUBs. Going to try the cleaning method first.
gm tsb says min 350 mv ac turning 1 revolution per sec, and my 1500 has
rear sensors, i had a 96 1 ton and i believe the rear sensor was on the
drive shaft
Have a 2006 Up Lander, engine light comes on and off. Test showed a wheel
speed sensor issue. Also my transmission doesn’t always go into second
gear right away. Are the two issues related?
Having the same problem with my silverado i just picked up, strange problem
and no abs light lol, will be very happy i dont have to spend $100 a side
for a new sensor now! thanks!

Shouldn’t the meter be connected to the wheel side of the harness to check
while turning the wheel?

My problem was I had too many spacers on the sensor lol
