The day you’re stuck on the side of the road with a leaky bag, or bad air compressor, or bad height sensor, etc etc, you’ll wish you installed these springs.

brina xo says:

still waiting to see how to stop the frigging “CHECK AIR RIDE SYSTEM’ FROM RETURNING CONSTANTLY

bigtonys1 says:

Air bags are cheaper $180 a pair 30 mins labor strutmasters ride riff and noisy clammy metal noise bad bad. I’ve installed several. Never rides like air bags do

honchoryanc says:

when it cost two grand to fix you change your mind pretty quick

michael Deas says:

air bags are cheap, compressors and modules arent. Springs are a lot less retarded, i mean, expensive.

michael Deas says:

Air suspension is awesome until a component fails, then springs are awesome!!!!!!!

lucky dowwg says:

once going to calif a 1700 mile tripe ht epump went out omg whjat a fing misrable trip in smooooth roads it was ok but in the bay area the roads are all ate up and bumpy i converted after this trip and havent looked back ,

lucky dowwg says:

when air ride works its good i ahve a 96 continetal with 270k and i converted to struts as the cost is very costly to keep the air ride going im happier with the old school set up no hassles no stivking vales and down in the weeds look

RoadRacerGT says:

The air system is a pia on an older vehicle.

Your forgot the best part.changing the shocks

Malcolm West says:

Yes, try replacing the air bags, replacing the line, replacing the worn out compressor, and replacing the solenoids, just to start. Or get the conversion system for 230 bucks, have someone slap them on the car for 80-120 bucks, turn of air suspension light, and sell it for a profit, or keep it for another 100,000 miles.

circusboy90210 says:

I’d never do something stupid like putting a more complicated suspension that does not ride nearly as well. a air bag is way easier to deal with. it’s just a balloon.

d go says:

the reason you convert it because once something goes wrong, it can potentially cost thousands of dollars to fix everything. once you do the conversion, you only thing you end up havin to replace is struts or coils…much cheaper

Raymond09871 says:

New air bags are $60 a piece om ebay. I know cause I bought some myself. Stick with air suspension.

Raymond09871 says:

I agree.

callbox47 says:

AVOID THIS PRODUCT: 2001 Lincoln Town Car. Instructions were not complete, the Air Suspension light remains on. Customer service was clueless and told me that the leveling arm was out of position and that is what is making the light come on. Images were useless in the instructions. Springs do not fit well on the air bag mounts, they are not wound tight enough on the top and bottom although they have not come out of place yet, but the fit is not what I’d consider acceptable.

noneyajdub says:

noneyajdub says:

How do you disconnect the shocks?

pelvicthrust119 says:

Just put my SM on my Deville rides like a new car and not warning light on my dash

yanogga21 says:

does it still ride smooth if you replace it with strut masters?

Pamela Collins says:

still light is on the dash and cant hear the compresser running so what else could be wrong

Pamela Collins says:

what con on the dash also the compresser is not coming onouldbe wrong if all has been done with replacing airbags and theres a light

displayfireworks1 says:

A couple years ago, I changed my Air Springs (Bags) on my 1995 Town Car. Now it sounds like the compressor is about to go. Looking back, I should have installed these replacements. Great job on the video. I do not think this video was out when I did my Town Car.

LUI COS says:
