I replaced both of mine for 600 last week on my Lexus sc430 2002 its a california car with 150000 miles and they were dried out from the heat…so you can’t win either way
Yea, but without that salt on the road (for icy driving conditions), this Lexus V8 could have been totaled in a wreck long ago and be completely picked over for parts by now… Excellent job Scotty, checking everything and tracking down that potential safety issue wid dit.

Hi Scotty, I have a LS 430 here in Ozz with nearly 300,000 kms on the clock. Best car I have ever owned. I usually park up my late model Sahara Landcruiser in favour of my Lexus.
Why is Scotty riding shotgun??
I appreciate that the cruise (and other) controls/levers is the same as Toyota, same as Scion, same as the Vibes I’ve owned. I am grateful for that ‘Yota mentality of “if it works, is it wrong?”!
