I know the feeling Emily, I got to the point of buying a electric heater
from the cigarret lighter but not enought. Yes I think you should buy the
part and let somebody doi it if you are not comfortable with, the part new
is more expensive don’t remember how much, I got mine from a salvage
yard…good luck

Ricky, from what I can understand the buzzing is when you select the air
direction, it could be the other servo, i understand that you get heat and
A/C so the servo that i show is not the problem. Good Luck..

Hi my 2000 lexus rx300 is making a buzzing noise in 2 different modes 1.
heat and 2 . defrost, In the vent position it works with no noise for hot
and cold. I think it’s my servo door. What do you think

mizel820 says:

Le er Your Welcome, I bought the servo from a salvage yard in Pasadena
Texas for $40 plus tax. i had found it on ebay, but was affraid of not
been the right part, till I found the yard that had it and went to it and
saw it been taking out. Keep an eye on the ones around your town. Sorry
didnt reply asap, I dont check my gmail that often..

Thank you! I have the same problem. I have no heat! It’s only July right
now but winter here is cold in Indiana. I’m just afraid to replace the
parts myself. I wonder how it would work if I bought the part but had
someone else replace it for me.

Thank you so much for posting this video. Very well explain. We have a RX
300 2001 with ours is the one that controls the air vent. We had mickey
mouse fixed it, but finally gave up. We had place a LEGO! to hold the arm
down temporary until we find the servo motor. I’m not paying $800 to
dealer. Yes is a pain to get parts at part. We live in Phoenix and we
really need the AC at all times. Where did you purchase the servo?
