for the rear, just remove the brake pads and if you need to open up the
calipers to make room for the thicker new pads, just use a C clamp to
spread them.
Hi, i really appreciate you posting this, because it would cost me lots of
money to take it to a car shop, but aways, i got the front done but now i
have no idea to do the rear!!! LOL.. PLEASE HELP
Silk, your advice and video on this subject was so on target. I can’t thank
you enough. You’ve saved me at least $600.00 and my pride in being taken by
my “trusted” mechanic. Thanks again.
Dude that was awesome. The Lexus dealer wanted to charge me $150.00 for
brakes. I went to Autozone and bought the top of the line Lifetime warranty
brakes so I never have to buy another set of brakes.Total cost was about
48.00. It took me 20 minutes to do and I’ve never done them before. Thanx

Well done!! Great to see the kids enjoying time with you too!!
If anyone is interested, he’s got another video called “2” which shows how
to install the pads, etc.
thanks man, nice vid, I love the easy access to the pads, hadn’t seen that
before nice touch by lexus – and who knew batman was your assistant
by the way, why not hang the rotor instead of dangling it from the brake
hose? Don’t you worry about it splitting or damaging the hose?
@VanessaSida101 rear brakes are not that diferent than the front except for
some minor changes. I will post a vid as soon as I get a chance.
Fantastic video man. Thanks a bunch…
