Still sad to me that friends bought Avalon and months later car died while driving claim the battery died and told get the alternator fixed. Winter time does kill batteries but if it's doing so while driving, cuz the alternator kick the bucket. Usually because of battery corrosion strains it
Love my 2001 Avalon. Can't believe I got what is functionally a luxury vehicle with hundreds of thousands of miles left in it for well under 3 grand.

I think 2014 was the last year you could get a "last forever" car or truck. Anything newer was made with the planned obsolescence ideology.
All my 2014 and older vehicles are still running like clockwork, everything I've bought that was newer has already fallen apart.
If you're wondering – in my half century of owning cars and trucks I have owned over 60 different vehicles of various types.

Lexus is Lexus not sure you can get an LC500 with Toyota! beside Lexus buyer are not looking for deals its a Toyota for riches! not a Scam!

Used Avalons now are as much as a used Lexus , maybe a couple thousand more for the Lexus, but truly no comparison..
lol nobody associates lexus with being prestigious or being Uber rich. It’s a car geared towards young execs and tech workers, maybe medical professionals as well.
The 2023 Camry's are Beautiful so smooth and Quiet they just glide and will last forever with no problems best buy for your buck.
Its funny how many people think Lexus is a luxury brand and not just a rebadged Toyota, the only exceptions being a few of their sports cars and of course the legendary LFA.
Lexus is a scam because they are overrated in reliability, and overpriced even used. If you want a good solid car? Buy a Lincoln Town car, or a Crown Vic.

Excellent advice!! Toyota's top trim packages do seem to come closer to their own luxury brand than any other manufacturer. I would dare say that some of their Limited models are even nicer than their base model counterparts from Lexus.
When I take my 18 year old Lexus in for service I get a loaner car. Not needing to find someone to go to the shop with me is worth the premium.
