can you put seal stuff on there to help it stay? such as gasket sealer
On my Is 300 I have something throwing oil all over my inside hood right in line with the accessories. New cam seals are on it. Any ideas?
I just did my o ring n god damn was it a pain because the o ring kept slipping out… I didnt put any markings to match it to its original spec.. i just wanted to know could it cause any issues with anything on the engine because i started getting a pending O2 sensors code.. I'm hoping that it's not because of the gear alignment. Also no more oil leak… thanks for the video..
do you have to remove the bolt in front of the cam? Or just remove 5 10mm bolts.
Loooool you just twist it off like nothing im here kicking this bitch
Just rebuilt my whole top end (head gasket up) and upon finishing, realized this O ring was leaking. Smh. Thanks for the quick tutorial!
Update: my o ring DEFINITELY doesn’t just fall in like that. Any tips?
How do you keep the seal in place its hard to leave it in place ? Tanks
Hello again,
I was wondering if you could tell me how you removed the bolt in the center of the camshaft? What mm head do I need to remove that bolt. Not the 5 small bolts around the shaft but the center one! Can you please elaborate.
What does 10foot pounds mean, I only have a raquet wrench can that be used? Or does it have to be a 10lb wrench used to tighten the bolts
Can you link the o rings please
