Cool video thank you. All I have left is the puddle lights. Also, you don’t need to take the whole assembly down for the front dome lights. Just pop the lens off. See my channel on how to do it.
This helped a lot. What size bulbs are used for the mirrors? I haven’t changed those yet.

All of the bulbs are w5w 501 but the rear interior ones are 31mm festoon.

I have a 220d too, the square where the sunglasses holder would be, pry it from the side next to the buttons and lights. It will then swing down and there will be 2 screws and pry the whole thing from the corners to get the whole thing off.

@scorpio4life76, The tutorial is applicable for you 2010 Lexus IS250. The interior of the 2010 model is identical to what you see in the video.

does the mirror puddle lights install work the same for the 09 IS, because out mirrors have a LED turn signal on the opposite side of the mirror…..
@Jspekz, The tutorial is applicable for the 2009 Lexus IS 250. Also, the tools are included in the purchase of the kit for free as long as you purchase the base package which includes the Front Map (3 LEDs), Rear Dome (2 LEDs).

I tried taking out the front dome light covers, but I can’t seem to take off the cover that is shown in 0:53. Is this the same for the 2006 models? It’s quite hard to remove. Should I just yank it out, because its tight?

Thanx for the quick response. By any chance are the courtesy lights the same bulb as the vanity lights. Defeats the purpose to place the courtesy bulbs there since I don’t have the clear light covers.
The lights used in this video are Crystal White 6000K.
