Lexus GS350 Wheel Speed Sensor Replacement C1406 Toyota

Lexus GS350 Wheel Speed Sensor Replacement C1406 Toyota

Hello friends! If you saw my last video where I replaced the hub assembly on my 13″ Lexus GS350, then you might know that I damaged the wheel speed censor when doing that job. Doh! I have never seen so many DTCs on my Lexus before. In this video I replace the crazy expensive wheel speed in the hopes that all of my DTCs will disappear.

Below is the base Autel MK808Z without TPMS functionality – This is the unit I was using in the video, but it cannot program and bind new TPMS sensors to your car. It can do everything else except TPMS programming and binding. If you need TPMS functionality, then you will need a MK808TS, which I have links for below.

Have you used FLUID FILM? I tend to put that behind caliper hats between the hubs (apply and wipe in) and it's worked well. i.e. being the clip and on the mating surface…FLUID FILM…and it MAY…not stick next time? #suggestion I like the product. I think it's primarily lanolin, and some other oils, but it sticks and stays pretty good. I think Project farm did a video on it.

OH Dan! I wish we could have spoken before you broke the old one, since I did the exact same thing to my GS 2 years ago. And I had the same lovely surprise when I went to buy a new one. You would think they were made of gold. I now have another one out, at almost 200k miles, on its own merit, as I have never touched this one. Thanks for the video! Dan

@TakeFlightGarage says:

Dan, completely off topic to this video I’m sorry, but do you still have that 86 944 turbo???

@coreystick2443 says:

You are my go to channel anytime I have a question about my GS-350. Keep making these videos.

@52_Blue says:

So glad you are still making these videos. I’m using some of your old vids for routine maintenance on my newly acquired 2015 GS350. Many thanks!

@XxPimpStarzXx says:

Damn I paid $1500 to replace all 4 sensors and have it synced by a Lexus dealership xD

I have a 2015 Lexus GS350 f sport and need to do the rear cv joints. Have you done yours yet?
