Any help on using the factory amp with an aftermarket head unit? I was debating on ideas. Could I simply split the amp outputs rcas? And run it that way? I don’t seem any info on doing this. Nvm it’s too much of a hassle lol. I’m gonna just stick a small amp in its place and run the sub off it ig.

Интересно я могу через Y провод подключить такой же систему не трогая свой мультивижон

do you not need a crossover when wiring the tweeters inline with the speaker? thats the only thing i wasnt sure on

Wait so If my head unit has the little knobs I don’t need to bypass/buy the extra cable? It’s basically a plug and play?

this is the most detailed and helpful video i’ve ever seen no exaggeration, i was thinking of buying a GS400 but the biggest thing is i want a car where a sound system is easy to make while having it pretty stock interior without cutting, found this video ended up watching the whole thing, definitely going to watch this through a month or 2 from now when i get my GS

Raz Ram says:

Everything was perfect… way better than everyone routing a wire or extending the whole harness from the amp back to the deck.. only small advice I have is to add a bass block to the tweeters. It will help the tweets last longer and not blowing/distorting.

TrendingTech says:

Where do i connect the ground wire?

PDusty says:

A good solution to not have to deal with all the rats nest of wiring, is to extend the radio harness and adapter harness outside the car with some spare wire, leave the 12v switched and illumination out, that way you just run them seperately over the the amp plugs, zip tie the new extended harness to the factory one, and connect 12v switched and illumination right at the stereo harness. Makes it a whole lit simpler than cutting open the factory loom and dealing with all that rats nest

I’m going to install them today and if I don’t want the tweeter do I just leave the wire hanging?
