How to Replace the Power Window Motor in Lexus ES300

Step by step video showing you how to replace the power window lift motor in a 1998 Lexus ES300. This is the most common fix when the power window doesn’t roll up or down.

Thanks for the time you put into the window motor video, do you have a finishing video for putting the window back, would be very helpful as my motor arrived this weekend.
PS: Are most of your auto videos based on your 98 Es 300?
Regards
Gary

Actually if you don't mind Clint, I'd like to get your thoughts on my scenario. I have the '95 and the window motor still works (meaning it moves the window up and down) but the window will only go up to about 75%, leaving a 3-4" gap. I haven't yet removed the panel to explore but what are your thoughts and maybe what you would look for in this scenario? Gonna try to get out there today to tinker.

Derrick Stewart says:

Do you know if the motor for the passenger side door is interchangeable with the driver's side? My thought is that if I go to our local salvage yard, I'm more inclined to grab the passenger side because it shouldn't be used as often ("should" have more life, in other words).
