Great video thanks. Question you don't need to open the brake reservoir cap and watch the level from rising when you push the caliber in? And also I saw from other videos they open the brake bleeder when pushing any caliber to prevent dirty fluid going back to the system? I'm not sure which way is the right way so please let me know. Thanks

Jessie Sheppard says:

did you have to bleed the brakes?

Great video! But did you not need to replace the rear rotors? I’ve only done front brakes and rotors on the front on my 2011 Lexus ES350. My rear pads need changed, but the rotors look good. But my car has 80,000 miles, so maybe I should put new rotors in the back?? Do you have a video showing how to take off rear rotor and adjusting the parking brake? Never done this before

Thanks buddy, exact model I have!!

What exactly does the C clamp do? I’m thinking of trying to change mine.

Many thanks! Replaces both front & rear pads on a friend's L. No problems! Def one of the easiest brake jobs I've done. Gotta Love ToyotA!

Just replaced the rear and front brakes on my 2007 ES350. According to my local repair shop, my front brakes were unsafe with less than 1mm of braking material. Well, turns out they were still good with approximately 5mm of material left and the rotors needed only a good cleaning. I changed everything anyway. Yes, I saved lots of money by doing this myself but more importantly I learned never to trust my 'trustworthy' repair shop again. Many thanks.

hey
thanks for your video .
I want to know the wheel inside the rotor . if I just use 2 m8×1.25 nuts to get the rotor out without touching the wheel behind rotor ? if it is OK or no ? need to prepare for my rotor change . thanks again .
