I has this same noise (its sounds like my car is nearly falling apart when
I drive on bad roads and go over bumps) and had the front struts replaced
and I still have the noise. The person who changed the struts said the old
ones were not bad but still changed them. Any suggestions on what the
problem could be? Thanks!
id jack up the car and start wiggling any and all components you can.. id
be suspicious of the strut tower bushing on top of the strut, this is a
high failure item.. google rx300 stut tower busing and youll see what they
look like..
Hello my lexus rx 300 needs the struts replaced front and back how much
should one pay to replace the front alone? i dont want to over pay a
mechanic
id guess a shop will charge around 450 to 500 but i dont have any labor
quotes in front of me so thats a just a ballpark

you can push it a bit and work around it. a wrench will fit, just slow as
molasses
How did you move the brake fluid reservoir out of the way to access the 3rd
bolt holding the strut in place?
Ok, thanks! I plan on attempting to change my front struts and strut mount
soon.
