How to Replace Ball Joints on Lexus IS300 Altezza Sportcross JZX100 Chaser

We install brand new OEM Lexus ball joints. I chose these over Mevotech (FIGS recommended) or Sankai 555 for half the cost because I needed my joints to clear my Brembo 17Z brake calipers. Most people avoid MOOG due to quality issues.

I got mine from Bell Lexus parts, they have an eBay and Amazon store.

It’s ok to torque it with the car still suspended?

A good reminder to stop procrastinating on this!

What are you thoughts on the lower control arms?

I replaced these on my old Gita (sportcross) but haven’t yet on my 02 sedan which is in much better shape and has been babied and garaged most of its life but does have 150,000 miles on it.

Sean M says:

Great video. Greetings from Canada. I’m doing this today on my JZX110, which shares the same suspension design as the SXE10! I subscribed!

I have MevoTech, nice.
Also How do the megan coilovers feel? Are they comfortable? Or is it too soft? Too hard? Please let me know, because I am in the market for a set of coilovers.

Great, in-depth video- I made sure to subscribe. Just curious, would you recommend getting an alignment after doing something like this? Thanks
