Just Curious… with so many model cars and Suvs under Lexus and Toyota…
it would be helpful to add which numbers to select on the OBD2 connector to
turn off the VSC indicator light. I have an 01 Lexus LS430… The OBD II
looks different from the one that is shown… what two numbers on the (top
row) and (bottom row) do I choose on the ODB II connectors for a LS430
Lexus vehicle?

Greg Drozd says:

crazysteve2112 says:

Worked~! Except according to my service manual I had to Hold TRAC OFF and
then press the brake pedal 3 times within 2 seconds. Works awesome! $300
saved!

I had my TRAC OFF and VSC lights ON. I followed the instructions with a
paper clip and it worked. The lights are no longer ON now. Thanks

Andy Forcht says:

I had an 04 RAV4 that was in a front end collision. I had to replace all
the LF suspension. The VSC light was all that remained after the repair. I
saw your video first and was exactly the solution. THANK YOU!! Andy/Iowa

guitarmetaldemon says:

great !

ismaelabbas says:

did this work on your 02 4runner??

leo76dragon22 says:

thank you… this saved me a $100!!

Brad Bauer says:

I recently lifted my 2005 Toyota 4Runner 3″ inches in suspension and 1.5
inches of body lift and experienced the VSC system engage when I made
sweeping right turns at 25-30 mph around corners. Doing this worked like a
charm! FYI: my OBD-II connector was upside down compared to the one in this
video so I just counted from the other side. No more VSC trac system
engaging when I make normal right turns!!! 😉

francisco trevino says:

will this work for a toyota sequoia 2002?

gunslinger271 says:

Dude, it’s not good to push that pin in that connector like that. Buy
yourself a connector kit that has that size in it so are not taking a
chance of opening that connector, which would cause no communication
problems when hooking in a scan tool.

Michael Kim says:

For ’03 Toyota 4Runners: The OBD is installed upside down in comparison to
the way the OBD was installed in this video and the pings used are Ts 14
and CG 4.
