JustA quick walk-through on how to change An alternator on a 2001 Lexus GS 430. I found that it was much easier to remove the fan because it gave me a ton of room to do what I needed to do and please keep in mind you need to remove the pulley on the power steering pump in order to be able to slide the alternator out of the car.

The power steering pully is it reverse thread?
Becareful aboit the plug…they like the Disintegrate into your hand like ash and then you have to buy another one
You don't have to take out the fans if you know how to finesse it all you gotta do is tilt it at an angle and will easily clear from the bottom and go in from the top you can see where it will fit if you move it around while you're attempting it all I did was remove my pulley that's it
