Thanks for sharing Scotty. I own a 2008 Lexus IS350 running rich on both banks with codes P0172 and P0175. No muffler modifications done. Have changed both A/F sensors, MAF sensor, PCV valve, gas cap, intake manifold gasket, used a smoke machine to look for leaks and detected none, but still these codes show up and on idle the cabin can smell like exhaust. My long term fuel trims go as high as 39% for both banks. Only pending to change is the EVAP purge valve. Any tips or suggestions would be appreciated!

Hi SCOTTY! Lots of interesting info! What are you hearing about EV's from the BIG FREEZE that the US has experienced? Curious to see how the EV vehicles made out with the bitter temps?
……….I don't get it, if the owner disabled the mufflers on this Lexus, how come the car doesn't make a lot of sound, I mean, it IS louder but no where near what it normally would be without mufflers on it. Normally a car without a muffler is almost impossible to go undetected. People will look at you with distaste if you pull up beside them without mufflers on your car, you can hardly hear yourself think. This Lexus sounds like it just has a sports muffler on it, hardly the sound associated with a car with NO mufflers. ????
Soon cars will be made of cardboard and more cheap craps…
