This video documents how I removed the discolored and scratched up looking rear view mirror on a 2006 Lexus GS3000, and where I sent to get it repaired for about $120 bucks vs. $1500 OEM replacement.
Same mirror is used in 3rd generation Lexus GS300/GS350/GS430/GS460.

Be prepared to never receive your mirror back. It’s been over 7 months since I mailed my mirror to radar-mirror. They did not answer my multiple emails and phone calls.

Stay FAR FAR away from Radar Mirror. They don't answer phone calls and they don't respond to their emails. I paid for their repair service and sent in the mirror and have yet to hear from them. If anything changes I will update this comment.
Not the hero we want, but the hero we need. If your center console rattles and squeaks, I used felt with adhesive on one side from a craft store. Took apart the center console and put that felt everywhere two plastics touched (and I mean everywhere). Now my center console is quiet.
I have same problem with my 2008 is250 but no tsb issued on mine ☹️
Do you know if removal of my model is same process you have shown?
I think the discoloration is from the auto-dimming fluid leaking. It can do the same thing in the side mirrors.
