This was a helpful video but it seems Unsafe! Unless I missed something, he
was using just a tire-change jack with his body parts in the danger zone. I
did this and got a trip to the EMR. I was lucky,when the car shifted off of
the jack only my ankle was under it. A few seconds earlier my head was in
the same spot. Needless to say – I was changing brake pads – that would
have been really bad. Always use wheel chocks and jack stands and keep
parts you want to remain uninjured from under the car.

at 4:43 what is that one metal bolted on on the bottom left called? there
is one on the other side too. i need to replace that
