Repair Range Rover Sport Coolant Leak

Watch how to fix a coolant leak on a 2016 Land Rover Range Rover Sport. Will add step by step procedure below if someone asks for it.

Compatibility: Similar procedure should apply to all L494 Range Rovers (2013 to 2022), and is likely very similar to most modern-day Land Rover models.

Tools Needed: Ratchet with 15mm socket and needle nose pliers.

Robb’s DIY Rating on 1 (easy) to 5 (hardest) Scale: Definitely a 1.

Duuuude! I may not have had the exact same leak as you, but I took the advice and invested in a nifty endoscope. Found the leak in 5 mins of investigation. Just wanted to say thanks 🙂

Coolant crossover pipe is the common source of coolant leaks on these engines. It's a plastic part that fails at a seam/join – it was updated for 2017 model year. It will destroy the engine if not caught in time. It's a POS to replace as the supercharger needs to come out. I'd check it just to be safe.
