Is the 32mm definitely the size wrench I need? I’ve already tried to use
the pipe wrench method per the video but was unsuccessful. I tried to order
the 32mm from atlanticbritish but was notified it was the wrong wrench for
the MKIII.
I was just about to travel 500 miles on a family holiday – and a water
leak!. 1 day to fix and no garange to do it for me. No haynes manual for
this car and I have the official RR RAVE diagrams – useless for soemone who
is not familiar. Used this video and I replaced the RAD in an hour. Thank
you so much for this. If I could donate I would.

No mention of the battle to undo the fan nut, the struggle to unclip the
bottom hose, the two radiator pins that snap when you pull them out or the
fact that the red drain plug is likely to snap off when you turn it after
10 years of being left alone. A very sanitised version of a rad replacement
that bears little resemblance to the actual job !

Do you need to bleed the coolant system afterwards? If so what is the best
way of doing this?
Don’t need to remove fan. Just remove air intake pipe which gives enough
room to move fan cover out of the way. Radiator can then just slide out as
per video. Excellent video, well done.
No, There is no specific radiator warning lamp. The only warning would be
indirectly from a low coolant warning or engine overheat warning. Both
warnings are bad and could possibly result in damage. Visual inspection or
pressure test is required.
how did you get the fun nut off? I’m trying to change my power steering
pump but I can’t get to tensioner without removing the fan but I can not
get the nut to break!
i bought a range rover 2003 83000 miles.. but i did full checkup before
buying it and i asked him make sure there is no leak anywhere but there was
no problem. but my quesion is if u have Radiator problem or leak will it
display inside the car like a worning light or u will never know until u
check the car?

Just wanted to thank you Storey. My 03 RR is in the garage right now with
the serpentine belt and tension pulley off as I’m taking a break for lunch
for I’m replacing the belt and pulley due to some squealing. You’ve saved
