Overheating Issues FIXED! | Land Rover Defender 300 Tdi

The Land Rover 300Tdi engine has a bit of a quirk. I’ve owned two and they’ve both over heated and burst their coolant tanks. Better thermostats, water pumps and a clean radiator all help. In this video I replace the burst tank and do a few odd jobs which I’ve been neglecting. Replacing the coolant reservoir, or expansion tank, is a very straight forward job on the Defender – anyone can do it. I hope this video helps.
