thanx m8 im in australia and to get somebody to work on this rig is to expensive your vid was just great and your a champian
brilliant glad it was useful
Hello if you just want to change pads and disc (rotors) follow the vid till the hub and disc is off then unbolt the disc from the hub leaving the wheelbearings in place and bolt the new one up
I normally push them just below flush with never a problem but I’m not actually 100% on that but either way just below flush has worked fine on every 1 so far
Phil – when you install the oil seal on the rear of the hub – does it have to be sunk 3mm below the lip of the hub or is flush OK? Also, can you clarify what direction the seal is installed? The manual says put the longer lip on the inside.
Thanks – great videos.
glad you all found it useful. dont forget to rate and share the vids please.
ok to change just the brake discs (rotors) you need remove everything in the video except the wheelbearings then unbolt the discs from the hub and these bolts are at the rear of the hub so it all needs to come off. I’ve got a dvd on brakes coming up very soon
Great video, very helpful. I was looking to change just the pad and rotors on the front of my disco and was wondering which steps in the three part series could be skipped beyond the wheel bearings? Do I have to dismantle the hub to the degree done in the video or can some of that be passed when just seeking access to the rotor? Best Regards and thanks again for the great videos.
Thx phil wheel bearings when on just fine thanks to your video. Some good tips from yourself, were very helpful!….. thx again.
