Hi Stereophile11, I need something for towing & a Jag wouldn’t really fit
the bill, if they ever make a true Jaguar 4×4 off roader type vehicle then
I would consider it. The S Type is only for business/long trips & days out
& my 1975 4.2 XJ6 is still in so many bits I may aswell scrap it because
it’s that rotten.

Morning marshall804, Not on the table but on a board over the hob! I mopped
it up with some bread and fried it for breakfast with an egg. I kept
choking as the bread kept stopping on the way down the hill to my stomach.
I got it there eventually and noticed the bread pads were worn out! Ha ha
ha ha ha….

Hi Chox, So did I after Marshall 804 informed of the the tricky and devious
retaining rings that buckle for fun. So a bit of ponderation, brews and a
cunning plan was hatched and this video shows you how I did it for you to
do it too!

Thanks and good luck. We have had several Triumph car’s in the family. A
new, pale blue 1300 in 1971, the front cracked off it according to family
history. I was only a nipper then. A maroon Dolomite 16TC I think it was?
in 1976. A green Dolomite (reg no WEK 516 S really mint it was) in 1984 and
we also had cream/white Dolomite in the 1990’s for a bit. Always liked
Triumph’s but preferred Jaguar’s & Land Rover’s.

Just wondering if all that spilt brake fluid is on your kitchen table !

Hi rooprat, Thanks for your comment. The idea works and saves a bundle of
cash on exchange or new caliper’s. No problems at all with the calipers
since they were done.

transit!

DingleZilla says:

Narthen young man, Thanks for your comment! I hope it all goes as easy for
you as it did for me. Good luck and let me know how you get on please.
Regards, DZ.
