FYI. I took the motor apart and soaked all parts in white distilled vinegar because there was rust and corrosion in both parts. I let it dry out and it worked.
I figured it out thank you. Unfortunately I broke off the white piece that holds the spring but now super glueing together. The motor worked when I hooked it up.
I've tried this but I can't get mine to work, and it didn't look half as bad as yours. I can get it back together but nothing happens when I re – connect it.

Do you know what might be wrong if the rear sunroof wont close

Can’t get housing to fit back together. Don’t see clips or springs

Those fixings are called Torx
