Replacing my clutch, and I wish I would have watched this video before I
ordered my replacement parts. Reason being, I would probably have ordered
another release lever. I will check for any cracks before I re-install it,
because after what I went through yesterday just to get down to splitting
the transmission from the engine… What a mission! It feels like it
would have been easier to just drive it over a cliff and buy a new one. Of
course it would help if I had a proper garage with a lift etc…, instead
of doing everything off of the ground. Some of these bolts were hell to
get to.
Oh yeah, did I say, “great video?” I do love my Land Rover and hopefully I
won’t have to do this again for awhile. Perhaps by then I will have a
better environment in which to work on it.
