Godkiller says:

Where did you buy the chassis from?

ragnarokzero1988 says:

on the rear cross member that is as OEM, they’re not tubes, it’s a bent
plate that goes across the top and down the sides of where the the tow bar
bolts go through, not sure about the bulk head ones, but I wouldn’t worry
about it, the plates will do the job and there isn’t much load at that part
of the chassis anyway.

timmy73600 says:

hi, just wondering how much? and also what do you mean by “tubed”?? thanks

Ryan Walker says:

i know the rear crossmember should be tubed for strength when pulling
heavey loads well I would have thought so anyway but if you are only
pulling really light loads we didnt see as it mattered and just carried on
fitting the tow-bar and at the front I didnt know they where supposed to be
tubed but they where according your old chassis, i hope my limitted
knowledge is usefull

hufforguk says:

@timmy73600 Hi, Sorry. I didn’t realise someone had posted here. The
chassis including delivery was about £1200. Tubed means that there is some
extra strengthening inside the box section on the chassis for instance
where bolts go through. It prevents the chassis being crushed if the bolts
are done up too tight.

waffjiggi says:

Looks good… Did you undercoat? I’m an engineer and I have one of my own,
the chassis has a bit of work to do on it like yours and I’m going to do
all the welding and what not myself and then send it off to get galved and
undercoated
