Shazzy Fooked!
well to dont have any corrosion at all , in 1ST place : adopt preventive
anticorrosion every 4 months with a simple gardening pump and burned oil ,
mineral oil … etc . Nowonder my defender limited black series dont have
any serious corrosion problems and it already have like +- 10 years & right
in front of the beach .
It’s as sound as an ocean going alka-seltzer, that 90!
TUFF TITS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I once owned an some filler cunningly disguised as an MG Midget. Pretty
nippy for cosmetic sheet metal smoothing paste.
The footwells on my RRC were a combo of alu plate, body filler and waxoyl !
Sounded right when I did the poker test but not so good for keeping the
water out, the rest of her was a similar story…..landrover buyers beware.
Humor is the most important quality of a Defender owner… followed by a
thick wallet and a willingness to get dirty. I love my 90 and wouldn’t
trade it for anything. Thanks for a great video.
I hate this guys voice
hi i miss doing the landys.
I’ve been around land rovers all my life, me and my dads own about 9 at the
moment. I repair them for a livng aswell. In all my years i’ve not seen a
road going one that bad! Time for a new chassis me thinks… Shame that
landy people bodge things so much 🙁
What the hell were they thinking?!!? Holy shit!
Chocolate Hobnobs – standard issue for any good workshop. Amusing and
useful video.
I had a mini made out of filler
Bit tight with the biscuits but an entertaining video 🙂
haha she’s got a bulge!
Classic landy Chassis 🙂
I bought a 1977 series 3 swb in feb this year, My chassis had some naughty
bits made of what looked like tarmac mixed with corn flakes! I bought some
3mm plate as it was all I could get. I guessed that better off a bit
thicker being the safe option, it welded easily too. It passsed mot easily
and is great fun to drive.
because you are very talented at welding
Thats a classic “Bodge it & leg it” job…LOL
I had some old news paper is my beetles heater channels mixed the with
fibre glass dated 3rd August 1975
frank are you a welder for a job
i saw this video and bloody sprinted outside to check my landy, thank fuck
its only body rust ive got… and thats where duck tape comes in handy
