Hi when you say there is an idiot plate, well there is,nt one on mine, so
am i correct in saying the pipe on the top of the liftpump is the one that
goes to the filter? Also if its the wrong way round what would happen, i,m
trying to bleed the system but just seems to get air from somwhere? thanks

awsome thanks mate, any chance you could do a vid on 300tdi injector pump
timing ? and general tuning like actuator etc ? I’m a cheeky sod, but worth
a punt 🙂

@Hannible100 Hi, you need idiot plate to stop the pipes from vibrating
together.. If the pipe was the wrong way around then perhaps the pipes have
been messed about with. The lift pump should draw the fuel out of the tank
then push through the filter to the FIP. The filter housing is designed
only to have the fuel pushed through it and not drawn through.. If the
filter has a primer filter on the top of the housing then it will one that
would probabally not have a lift pump for the system.
