Ive just done this exact job on mine. The camera was fooked. I ended up taking the whole system out and putting an Alpine head unit in with digital tv tuner instead of an analogue. Cost a small fortune but the alpine camera fitted into the housing so its a seamless swap and it works a treat. 🙂
