Would be a thought on an old vehicle to check and clean the lead contacts
and the earth strap… Alternator needs checking to see it is out putting
sufficient charge too if battery is failing. I had 3 gel batteries on my
LDV ambulance as standard and they were fantastic, the original purchase
date was 6 years before they started to fail….
