It's always the intake one lol. They should have recalled those actuators. Bad design.
Land/Range Rovers are nice cars…to lease.
Ecoboost are pure garbage.
Is he using alldata? Where did he get that picture ilustrating yhe good and bad actuator?
EcoBoost? Does NA not get the ingenium engine? Either way, same result of being on the lift…
So no new timing chain or guides? Rattling actuators and sprockets cause chipping on chain surfaces and excessive clearances and should always be replaced.
Ford. Build to keep mechanics employed.
Could that job be done in the car
Can auto makers just make simple things.? My old 350 gets 25mpg with 3:42 gears and a 6speed and Rochester 4bbl. No need for this crap today
Wait… Ford owns some of land rover!?!?
When the title of the video says Land Rover, it’s safe to assume it’s broken. I know because I own a few. It’s a love/hate relationship…
Big money to fix
The broke piece is usually sitting on the edge of the Windage tray when you pop the timing cover off. 9/10 times
Gear plunger shot out like they always do , I’ve done more of these shit boxes than I can count lol
You gonna lose that finger brother. You take that ring off when you wrench hopefully. Love the videos BTW
Nice job verifying the TSB on this vehicle.
