Car Wizard says:

I accidentally called this engine a Coyote. Its actually an AJ 5.0 V8. Which is Ford still. Just FYI

nanah p says:

So we are buying a Ford explorer with a range rover badge?

Shane Kleinpeter says:

I own a 2017 in the UK. It's got the 3 Liter twin turbo diesel, which is also a Ford Engine (and also found in Jaguars, Citroens, etc.) It's not been bad at all. A couple of common failure items on that engine (especially the throttle body, which always fails and causes DPF blockage.) Insurance is hugely expensive because criminals reign free in the UK, and these are often the target of thieves. It gets 33-38 mpg, makes more than enough power and is a pleasure to drive here and over in Europe. When we take car trips my kids put up a fuss if we say we're taking my wife's Audi; they always want to take the Range Rover.

Top News100 says:

20 thousand miles add other 40 thousand miles you will be changing the timing chain and guides , now that's a very costly job and you better get it right the first time, since Ford motor started making those vehicles became problematic matter of fact everything that forward make these days is problematic problems problems problems garbage garbage garbage Mexico Mexico

MrBaden77 says:

Impossible! You said a month before this video that no car is worth anything after 1996. (Nostalgists said that about the horse and buggy too.)

Shay Johnson says:

I beg to differ & I probably have more experience than even you Wizard.

Jay Wolf Elite Ammunition says:

Great until all the electronics starts go out to lunch.

Abel Tasman says:

Range rover money pit

B bustin says:

100.00 for a simple single cone speaker…. an after market would easily work if you have to Re drill holes in the mounting frame so be it. Or put connectors that match that system.. not a big deal Range Rover doesn’t make speakers
25.00 easy for that puny speaker. Lol

Chris Ball says:

Hey wizard just to let you know Mrs wizards Discovery Sport and that Range Rover Sport was built under Tata Motors not Ford since 2008

Lost in rural England says:

I had a new one of these for 5 years and never had a problem. Can’t say the same for the new bmw and Audi I had prior . The only thing I didn’t like is the infotainment system seemed to be using a calculator cpu and is painfully unresponsive and slow. Kinda crap for a luxury car

pinkace says:

Hey wizard, if you need to change one tire on one of these, do they also need to be put in access mode?

richard williams says:

Mrs. Wizard is getting a little lippy, might be time to get a personal assistant/camera girl!!!

Turquoise Cat says:

Nothing is ever less than several grand at this repair shop it seems? Ninja would be a better bet

Labour Law Act says:

Just replacing a belt, battery and speaker for around $5000 is still a lot of money anyway.

Labour Law Act says:

Wizard, you'll call it BAD when trying to repair the diesel model…☺

AnythingGasoline says:

The car wizard needs to be corrected on this. The AJ-8 is NOT a Ford engine. It’s jaguar developed engine and Ford used it in some of their vehicles.

Chris Reimer says:

YOU DON'T WANT TO OWN THIS CAR TRUST ME

Robert Ober says:

No wood because it's not a Range Rover, it's a Sport. The Sport is on the LR4 chassis. At least it was in the series of Sport he is showing. It is a smaller and cheaper vehicle than the Range Rover. I have a 2019 Range Rover and traded in a 2008 for it. Both have real wood trim inside. I wish Land Rover would stop confusing the situation by calling smaller vehicles a Range Rover this and that. They are not. PS: Mine were/are the HSE trim level that I believe has been discontinued. I do not know if the older or current SE trim level has wood. HSE and above do.

NUFF SAID says:

When you put it on access mode…what does it do to the suspension?

bosshogg1155 says:

I have a Range Rover sport 2016 hse that had thermostat replaced and whatever else goes along with that repair due to a coolant leak about a year ago. Just yesterday I’m finding a drip literally directly below the coolant tank. Puddle on the ground small drip. The tank was empty so I went to oreilly to add fluid. Worker tried to check it by feeling around but didn’t detect a leak from the tank itself. Anyone with any idea what this could be?
If not the coolant tank what could be leaking on the ground straight down from the tank? Thanks for any input.
